Vrydag Fokus: tronk kapelane by die werk
Om 'n gevangenis kapelaan te wees is soos geen ander bediening wat ek ken nie. Hulle werk elke dag onvermoeid om hoop, ondersteuning en sorg te bied aan van die land se mees kwesbare mense en diegene wat hulle in aanhouding hou. Elke dag kry hulle die geleentheid om Jesus in die oë van die gevangene te sien. Ken jy 'n kapelaan by 'n tronk waarvoor jy kan bid?

- Pray: Almighty God, we pray for prison chaplains who are today ministering faithfully with the recently bereaved, the suicidal, victims and perpetrators of violence, those without hope, and those with hope recently reborn. May they experience a renewed revelation of you in the midst of their ministry, which today reminds them of the glorious hope by which they were called. (Isaiah 58:6)
